Kay presented the Saturday morning children’s programme FBi alongside Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and BBC Children’s presenter Kate Heavenor. Kay was born and raised in Bolton, Greater Manchester, the son of Norman and Gladys; he has a younger brother, Stephen. He attended St Joseph’s R.C. High School in Horwich, near Bolton, and then St John Rigby College in Orrell, near Wigan.
